The time has come...

to put this blog to bed for a little while. December is a notoriously hectic month for all and especially for me as I agreed to work full-time in my day job for the next few weeks. Although I've tried to squeeze in some posts, all creative thoughts and any energy have essentially been sucked away and it's become a struggle to carry it on. So, I thought I'd stop in today to say thank you for your visits, comments and emails throughout 2008 and I hope to see you in this space in the New Year!

under the weather...

My week of sharing bits and pieces from my new york trip quickly got cut short as I was bitten by a nasty cold/virus thing and I'm still not feeling all that hot after more than a week of it. Still, I managed to find this little gem above on a wander out this afternoon. I wonder how it will become a piece of my work...who knows!?

Something really good from my trip was being able to see the work of Henry Darger up close at the American Folk Art Museum. I think I'd need to invent some new words in order to describe just how stunning it all was.
