here's some rather un-flattering pics of our soon to be new home. i know - you are totally in love with the this decor. i might just keep it as it is, including that purple carpet.
somehow these estate agent pics intrigued me enough to warrant a closer inspection and although it is not necessarily our dream house it will eventually, and with lashings of love, be a home.
it's an unusual terrace house in a small village on the norfolk/suffolk border which has been in the same family for over 150 years. there is a small garden which quite excitingly backs on to the local allotment site so there will be plenty of gardening for me.
it's going to be so refreshing to get away from the hubbub of the city and have some light, space and peace around us. there are lots of long country walks to be had and most importantly lots of pubs to check out!
this is the face of my new studio, tres chic, no?!
i will be sure to keep my camera close by me so i can get some good before and after shots. it could get a little hairy as we will be camping out in there with basic amenities (no internet heating or fridge) for a couple of weeks whilst we decorate.
i do love a project and can't wait to get started...bring it on!
