moments and things

my goodness, time just seems to keep on running away from me. there just aren't enough hours in the day for everything i want to do and no matter how i try to plan my time i always run out of it and never quite get everything done!

you will notice again that there is no signs of drawing in these here pics! we have had tea by the sea though which was rather scrumptious. i recently added an allotment to my list of things to do (see above, weeds as far as the eye can see) so now i'm pretty knackered from digging most of the time. do you like gardening? i don't want to bore you all with blathering on about how my courgettes and cutting garden are coming along :)

i had my first allotment when i was 20, before it was de rigueur, and had to leave it after some vandals wrecked everything. i've been longing for a place to grow veg and flowers ever since (that's 13 years!) and luckily this one is 30 seconds from my back door. we are nipping out between rain showers this week to give it a good forking and i can't wait to get some seedlings in this lovely soil.
